2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information
When you create an account for the Software, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Username
- Password (stored in encrypted/hashed form)
User Content (Scripts)
We collect and store the scripts, screenplays, and documents you create and save within the application to provide synchronization across your devices. Free accounts may store up to 20 scripts, while paid accounts may store up to 200 scripts.
Technical Information
We may collect technical information to improve Software performance and maintain stability:
- Browser and operating system information
- Software version information
- Error reports and crash logs (technical data only, no user content)
- Log files containing technical diagnostic information
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Third-party tracking: We do not sell your data to advertisers or track your web browsing behavior outside our application.
- Device sensors: We do not access your microphone, camera, or contacts.
- Unauthorized content access: We do not access your creative content except as necessary to provide the storage service or as required by law.

Storage Location
- Account information and User Content are stored on secure cloud servers located in the European Union.
- Your creative content is stored within your private account space, protected by industry-standard encryption.

- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure password hashing
- Regular security assessments
- Limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis
Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain account information and stored scripts as long as your account remains active and within the allocated storage limits.
- Deleted accounts: Account information and all stored scripts are permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Technical data: Error reports and technical logs are retained for up to 12 months for diagnostic purposes.

We Do Not Sell Information
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.
User-to-User Sharing (Collaboration)
When you use our Real-Time Collaboration features to invite other writers to a project, you are actively choosing to share the contents of that specific script, as well as your display name and email address, with those invited users.
Limited Sharing
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With trusted third-party providers who assist with cloud hosting, email delivery, or customer support.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or legal process.
- Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
